So finally JaJ gets in Old shoes again..I saw the first movie in Japan..I hope I will continue it ..The Fast and Furious..Tokyo Drifting by Lin, 33, USA.
This is the film by a Youngster for Youngsters..its about Speed and Craze. Wherever is youth, there is Craze..and specially when it is backed by Money it gets magnified to unimaginable. DK the Drifting King on Tokyo Streets has been enjoying the Mafia empire “Yakuza” run by his Uncle Kamata (Sonny Chiba)..Owns many Dance clubs, Drug Picking networks and Beauty Queen, girlfriend Neela. All of sudden Sean got to make his way to Schools on Tokyo streets..because of Devastation he made on construction site in America, during a Illegal Race..This Race has been the opening Scene of the movie..prompting what is waiting for you ahead.
Its worth watching Sean getting in class for first time..he don’t understand Japanese..and he is going to learn in Japanese..but Neela (Nathalie Kelley) seating on first bench..with flirting eyes..makes him comfortable by a Smile (believe me her smile is killing. Kelley is going to replace Sushmita Sen from my Desktop).
On first day itself, this Gaijin (Foreigner), gets the rhythm as he gets Introduced to Mafia Empire by a friend Twinkie..DK gets him competing to him..but this is Drifting..furious combination of Accelrating and Braking..it calls the SKILL and GUTS..Sean don’t have the skills but got the GUTS..takes the challenge and ends up with wrecked Car, which was loaned to him by Mafia`s partner Han.
Sean got to repay for devastation, so lands up in Mafia chain in Japan. Han helps him in getting Drifting Skills, and nourishing Racing Craze..Hillside Drifting Stunts were just too Furious. Everything happening in Erotic and Bubbling Night Life in Japan and Busy streets of Tokyo..making the film too realistic to me in Japan.
Sean keeps learning and Flirting with Neela, which gets him in Hit list for DK. DK chases to Sean and Han for killings..this Death Chase is Unbelivable…taking the movie to the apex. OHH my god..it was mind blowing example of Cinematography and Great Stuntman ship.
So come the end..with the Toppings..another race for getting Neela…Sean cant loose it, but DK wont let him win..another race…more cruel..more furious..SO COMES MY VERDICT…MSO->MUST SEE ONCE..its such a height is achieved in this part of film..
I need not tell who wins?? And that gets curtains down.
Lucas Black featuring as Sean, who have been starrer in X files, Deepwater..exhibits perfect Mighty American in Sean Boswell..Expression, timings and Body Language is just too good..as if Racing and drifting is in his blood..such a Natural performance it was.
Nathalie Kelley as Neela was catching eyes, whenever she was on screen. Neela narrated a Schoolgirl..her Smile was as killing as her Drifting skills…It seems to be first film of this Peru girl who used to be Salsa dancers in early days…Thanks to Director Lin for introducing a fresh face.
Brian Tee who plays Villain here..was perfect for his role…Director makes image of DK(Drifting King) darker by adding strong background Music, and short skirted girls around, whenever he is on silver screen. Well Done Tee.
The most admirable part of the film is Background Music..this is movie of Youngsters.. background tracks keeps them with the tempo of movie..and makes Drifting Scenes a fabulous experience. A perfect 10 for Brain Tylor.
Script is good. Perfectly captured from School days…Han says, “Once you make choices, you never look back”. Nice to see Sean fumbling to say “Okaaneee” (which means Money in Japanese).
Cinematography is Just Amazing..it has been always Strong side for Hollywood silver screens, as compared to Bollywood.
Director is successful in keeping the pace of the movie…It has tag line “Fast and Furious”..and believe me he is almost successful in maintaining that..Salute to his Observant eyes which has captured the Japanese Life Style to minute details.

JaJu at Japan III..Namaste India

It was sunny Sunday (believe me being sunny day is really rare here in Japan..such a clear day) and Stage Opens up with “Thodi si Dhul Meri Dharati ki Mere Watan ki” from Rang De Basanti..and what a surprise a Japanese Troop occupies the center of attraction…The same Liveliness..the same Energy the very same Enthusiasm..I felt like am I in India??? Before I come out of this fabulous performance..next Track starts from Fir heraferi..”I love Ruppaiyya” ..the tempo was sustained by other performers. And then comes icing on the cake..INDIAN Team engages the stage with big round of applause. .and next moment everybody catched the bits of “Nach Baliye” from Bunty and Bubbly…It was amazing seen to see Japanese people coming ahead to catch the bit and shake the legs on Bollywood item number.
Namaste India..a event of its kind in Tokyo..celebrating 15th year…otherwise its tough to get Indian food in such variety in Tokyo..few stalls catching eyes of Japanese Bollywood fans..Indian classical Music fans..Japanese girls were looking Indian Outfits with such curocity..few fine art stalls were representing India Traditional arts..and remaining all occupied FOOD stalls..surprisingly Japanese outnumbered Indian peoples. You might be amazed to know that, India is more known for Curry (Here in Japan all Sabjis and Bhajis are called Curry) than for Software techies. Japanese people were enjoying various curries..I enjoyed Chana- Bhatura..it striked strings in Heart about Mother India..which was followed by another event of striking strings.. Music concert..Nishat Khan on Sitar was just Amazing..I forgot the one on Tabla ..who was almost cut throat with Sitarist.
Then something very unusal conversation…someone was saying about Shivamani performing in Japan, it also had mention of other big leagues Amjad Ali khan, Zakhir Hussain…I just turned around to see the Music Lovers..it was unbelievable..2 Japanese youngsters were having this conversation..I could not believe Indian Classical Music can be such popular overseas, especially in the context that young Guns in India are far away from it.
Then we waited for second round for Bollywood item numbers..But this wait was worth..after getting Crowd in rhythm with starter Punjabi songs..the Best Item number in recent days was on..Guess what it can be…”Kajara re..Kajara re” here all ..almost all Indian audience got irresistible ..almost everybody got legs shaking..it was too good scene one can expect 7 seas away from India..for few moments I forgot that I am in Japan..such an Indian scene it was!!!
Last but not least..In morning after Rang de Basanti Song..few guys started shouting “Bharat Mata Ki Jay”…my heart was full of memories on Independence day programmes…Akhir Dil hai Hindustani…!

Hello Friends. ..It has been one month here on this beautiful part of the earth. There were lots many new things, styles of operating. I intend to brief you about Japanese Market place..Shopping styles...something noticeable things about Japanese Shops and Drivers of it.
Japanese Shopping place List is having Akihabara- Electronic City as prominient name..a must visit place in Japan. I have been here 3-4 times..every time I have been here, could explore something new. Japanese Electronics Goods are amazing…there are so many Model, beautifully crafted to get you in love. This market is flooded with all electronic Gadgets Laptops, Desktops, Cameras, Electronic Dictionaries (for foreigners), MP3 players….Ipod have latest entrants in this list. This place is always flooded with youngsters..catching latest models of MP3s and Ipods..rates are pretty same as International market. One should find cheaper deal for Model made with Japanese Interface.
Akihabara note can not be complete, if I unmentioned Yodabashi..one of the Biggest Shoopping mall in Japan. You can find every single electronic goods here in this 6 storied complex..show casing almost every brand…I was amazed with variety and options available here. You can find Salesman with Speakers trying hard to catch your attention. (This very different as compare to India, generally there we just look for Visual effect to catch attention, but Audio Visual tricks were something new to first time flyer like me. Can u believe Salesman in Jaihind, Laxmi Rd, trying to catch your attention..never..rather they will be Happy to skip away, when customer is calling him.)
I was just wondering where this market is going to lead…I could make the trend Japanese Electronic market is moving towards Slim, Short, Lighter and value addition. Observe the history of Japanese Electornics companies Sony, Toshiba ..their history will reflect the same story. But closer look at this fact will also show up Attitude of people of this land..they believe that resources has to be used wisely, all resources are Gods gift..must be used be optimally. This novel thinking is driving the technology. The very same is also driving technology in Automobile domain..Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu are big giants leading spearhead in increasing Fuel efficiency as well as Duel fuel and Hybrid vehicle development. The same thought, which is in roots here, is all fired to make dent on future technology, which is going the lead the world.
Its worth mentioning that this thought is not only driving technology but also Cultural part. Bonsai is gift to the world from Japan…..see the thrusts to pursue Slim, Short, Lighter and value addition, is present here everywhere here.
In Japan you should find vending machines in abundance…they understands that, there is no point in employing humans to just to sell Water bottles, Cold drinks, all of the process can be automated. So wherever you are, just turn around you must find a vending machine. You can buy a Cigarettes and Drinks (starting from Bears…Colas to Ocha-Japanese tea). It never makes any mistake and returning back the Change and it is faster. The other advantage is it can be placed at remote places…which ensures availability everywhere.
I am sure everyone of you have had bad experience in Indian Restaurants..you have ordered something ..and gets something which you never expected..then eating it up with disappointment. Here Japanese restaurants are much ahead. In restaurants here, you can see show cases, displaying real like model of various dishes available there. It avoids confusion for foreigners like us. Models are very same as the original one..they are made of Wax..hats off to artistic work and thoughtfulness of sons of this land.

Jaju At Japan ....JaJ
Jaju At Japan…
I have been in Land of Rising Sun since last week…..what I saw till now, is making me to forget that this island was turned into Ash 5 decades back…Hats off to all Brave hearts, who contributed to Development of their country, with their relentless efforts and backed with spirit of Nationalism…..Despite of all Odds on the front of National resources….considering that God gifted them just with Earthquakes and Cloudy Environment….they fought out the battle for their generations to come as winner.
I will like to say Japan as Developed Civilization and not developed country which we people associate with America…..people here have developed the best way to Live and Let Live…they always take care that no body is getting suffered becoz of them…
People here don’t express themselves, becoz they don’t want to propagate sad feelings..and negativities. They refrain themselves from expressing their View point.becoz they don’t want anybody to get hurt out of there criticisms. This is what makes them different from my motherland where people are always have Wide Mouth (which we misconceptualise as FRNAKNESS)
Japanese Lifestyle cant be isolated from Transporatation system….Such beautiful and maintained system it is…Suburbs have been centrally located around various railway station…people from upper class to lower class..school going boys to Elder ones..everyone is used to timeliness and systematicness of this system….I cant imagine in Mumbai local having doors closed..and door on platform side will only open up…I cant imagine 50 people can come out of railway and equal number of people riding it in…in JUST A MINUTE..its no way possible in India..becoz we don’t want to wait for others…we haven’t made our minds to take additional pains for someone we don’t know…But these people have done that..they have been practicing it for decades…they have proved that its best way to live.
People here don’t waste there time. I have observing people in Train they keep there self engaged in Reading something..gaming something on Mobiles…Playing video games..having a Nap..so that will be fresh to something once they ride out…I rarely saw them chatting loudly about politics..religion(subjects of my love as many other friends of mine back home) None of the time mobile of anyone was ringing with popular movie song tune…Why? Reason is simple...they don’t want encroach privacy of co passengers.
About Lifestyle and Dress wares…here Japanese Women takes over their men counterparts…Women wear Fashionable clothes….I was surprised to see pretty elder women had Make up as if she is going for a date..yes make up is regular part of there life…common from college going gals to women aged 60+…they always carry catchy Accesssories…..but Guys must not mistake them …they are pretty forward but does not necessarily Bold…mind it! On other Japanese men are always found in professional wares..Suits and Ties….
That’s all I had as of now I will update u more as I explore!!!
